Data protection

The decision No.2006-130 of 05/09/2006 exempts not-for-profit organizations governed by the law passed on July 1st 1901 concerning wage declaration associated with managing donor members. Therefore, the use of personal data is not subject to a declaration to the CNIL (French National Commission for Data protection and Liberties).

The exemption states that only data relative to identity, bank identity, organization affiliations - with the exception of sensitive data such as racial or ethnic origins, political, philosophical or religious opinions, union status, health status or sexual activity, offenses, convictions or legal action - must be recorded.

Green Bodhgaya commits itself to keep confidential information that could potentially be transmitted online by the internet user.

The data concerning the user account cannot be used by other entities than the organization Green Bodhgaya.

In accordance with articles 27 and 34 of the Data protection and liberties act law No.78-17 of January 6, 1978, the users have rights of access, modification, correction and suppression of potential data, which concerns them.

Plant a wish tree

Planting of fruit trees in 3 schools in villages around Bodhgaya in collaboration with Integral Rural Developpment Trust (Indian association sponsored by the Spanish) which has established schools locally and mobile clinics. The children received a little training on how to plant and protect trees then did practical work on the campus of their school and then received a tree to plant at home ------------------------------
His Holiness the Dalai Lama has blessed some of these trees and His Holiness the Karmapa has applauded the idea that next year, during the Meulam, each monk plants a tree with a wish ------------------------------
